McKinstry adds a new piece to replace Moshovetis.

The 2022 SBL Draft came to a close, and teams were being finalized only to realize a top player from Owen McKinstry's Knicks will not be playing this summer.

Daniel Moshovietis attends the University of Central Florida and plans to stay there for the summer. Moshovietis graduated from Milton and would have been a critical part of the Knicks' game plan on both ends as he stands at 6'6 and is very agile with a high vertical to protect the rim.

"We need some help," said McKinstry. "Losing Dan hurts."

However, McKinstry has found his replacement. His second-round draft pick Dylon Murphy attends VTC and has a friend that plays on the College team. Florida native Dominick "Dom" Presendieu, a guard that stands at 6'0, will be joining the Knicks to help try and get them back to the championship game.

"He's a guard that can shoot," said Murphy. "He also wants to be called Dom P, nothing else."

The Knicks roster is now

C: Owen McKinstry

Devyn Gleason

Dylon Murphy

Dom P

Tommy Benoit

Nick Carswell

Gavin Combs

Gavin Johnson

Logan Gendron

The Knicks roster is not how we expected it to go, but the one thing they will have is chemistry, and that is earned. Hopefully, Dom P can slide right into a good role.
